Mother of 7 and grammy to 10! Having kids around just comes naturally! I believe that children need to be taken out of this “virtual world” and need to be rolling in the mud or playing in a natural self-led, no pressure environment. I believe that unrestricted outdoor play is essential to children’s healthy sensory, motor, social and intellectual development. Here at Loblolly they have ample chance to play, to develop creativity, independent thinking skills, confidence, emotion regulation and healthy immune systems. Along with taking regular care of the farm animals and gardening as part of their daily activities, they have an opportunity to engage in experiences which nurture stronger and healthier bodies and minds.
